Italians are known all over the world for two things, their cars, and pizza. Well, today we are gonna discuss one of those Italian masterpiece cars and it comes from none other than the raging Italian bull manufacturer, Lamborghini. It's the Lamborghini Huracan performante. It has got a naturally aspirated, high revving 5.2 Litre V10. It puts out 630 Buffhorses at 8,000 Rpm and 600 Nm Torque at 6,500 Rpm. 0 to 62 Miles per hour takes 2.9 seconds and the top speed is rated at 202 Miles per hour compared to the standard Huracan the acceleration is about 2/10 faster and the top speed remains unchanged, it has got 29 more horsepower and 30 Nm more torque. Moreover, Lamborghini has managed to shave in a total of 40 Kgs from the standard Huracan and they have given it a fixed Carbon fiber wing. On Paper, the difference isn't much, is it?. So why would someone pay an extra of 55 Grand over the standard Huracan? The answer to this question is quite simple, you have to drive it and experience the difference yourself, and after spending quite some time with the Performante, I can say this with full confidence that the Huracan performance is worth every penny over the standard Huracan. Also, the performante is much more agile around the track, the stickier Pirelli P zero Corsa provides excellent grip on the Track and they strike a perfect balance between Road radial tires and Track slicks. To prove just how fast the New Performante is around the Track, Lamborghini went straight on to the Nurburgring and achieved a Lap time of 6:52.01 that's a total of 5 seconds faster than the Porsche 918 Spyder which is an insanely fast Hypercar. When you let these insane numbers and Lap record sink in your mind, you start to realize how much Bonkers this car is!!!. The reason for this type of Mind-Bending Track performance is the addition of some clever Aerodynamics which Lamborghini calls ALA which stands for Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva in Italian. The way in the aerodynamics work is quite intriguing they help in reducing the speed of the car when you are entering a corner and helps to prevent any Understeer or Oversteer during the corner. Although there does exist some amount of Oversteer, it just adds to the experience of the car and Overall the car is quite fun to drive. One of the factors about this car that surprised me a lot is the ride quality of the car, the Double Wishbone Structure works perfectly to make the ride comfortable, which is something we don't expect from a supercar. This leads to me another aspect of the car, the ability of this car to be used as a Daily Driver. Anyone can perfectly Daily this car. The Carbon ceramics brakes on the car are perfect, they have a nice confidence-inspiring braking bite. Now let's come to the soundtrack of this car, the standard Huracan sounds Great no Doubt, but the performante has a New Exhaust system which sounds even more monstrous. The electronics in the Performante are very clever, the electronics in the Car can change according to the situation. For example, the Car will make changes in the aerodynamic systems if you are on a Drag strip. The Car will change accordingly to make it faster in a straight line. and if you happen to be on a test Track than you just have to change the driving mode to Corsa and then you will have one hell of a Track Car. So to finally put it, in a Nutshell, the Huracan Performante is one of the best Track cars that I have ever driven and it surely deserves to be on the list of Best Track cars I have ever seen like the Porsche 911 GT3, the Mclaren 675lt, and the Ferrari 458 Speciale.
