This time we are going to talk about the more powerful big brother of the CT4-V Blackwing, the CT5-V Blackwing which not only is wilder than before in terms of performance but in almost every aspect.
The CTS-V has now got a Successor, the CT5-V Blackwing, not only has the Supercharged engine got an Upgrade, the interior, the styling, the suspension, and even the design has got an upgrade.
But the real upgrade has come up in the form of the Supercharged engine, the CTS-V’s supercharged engine now makes 668 horsepower and 659-pound ft. of torque, both of which are mammoth numbers in the car world,
Another interesting thing to see is that the CT5-V Blackwing is now the 2nd most powerful sedan you can buy in the market, the first is still the charger hellcat which again is an American car.
I am telling you all, Americans are just obsessed with horsepower numbers, more the power, better the car and that’s why we love American cars so much.
The CT5-V is going to launch in 2022, seeing from the perspective of the sales numbers of cars in the market, manual transmissions are almost non-existent, and Cadillac has given a 6-speed manual transmission as standard in the CT5-V Blackwing, so Salute to you Cadillac from giving a manual as standard in the Car, we appreciate you a lot.
It just goes miles to say how much Cadillac cares about making their cars driver’s friendly.
Now the numbers look great, but what good are these numbers, if they can’t even perform in the real world, right?? Well, the CT5-V gives some mind-bending results
It will do 0 to 60 Mph in just 3.7 seconds and will go on to do a top speed in excess of 200 Mph, what more can you probably ask more in a 4-door family sedan??
Not Much I think, moreover if you take real-life conditions into consideration, you will never be going above 250 Kmph most of the time and even if you somehow manage to stumble upon the Autobahn which is very rare, you won’t find the need to go above 200Mph.
Fun fact: The Cadillac CT5-V happens to be the most powerful car ever made by Cadillac and who knows this might be the last pure IC car from Cadillac as well as manufacturers are pushing towards making Ev’s
