AFFORDABLE SPORTSCAR IN INDIA??

Have you ever wondered about our best sports cars you can buy in India? I have and thus I did some research regarding this and I came up with 2 of the least expensive Sportscars in India, now when I say least expensive it doesn’t mean that a normal man can buy it, no it’s far from that.

They are still imported at the end of the day and thus there are heavy taxes that have been imposed on them so their price is tending towards 1 crore.

Without any further delay, let’s start

First, The BMW M2 Competition: -

The BMW M2 competition is my favorite sports car. Reasons? Well, there are many to give.

First of all, the BMW Competition is a serious performance machine, right from its menacing looks, the engine, and the overall performance.

Under the hood is a turbocharged straight-six engine that produces 411 Horsepower and 550 Nm of torque. The numbers are healthy, to say the least, but what is the result of these numbers? Well, the M2 Competition will do 0 to 60 Mph in just 4.2 seconds, if that’s not impressive enough then just see the top speed, at 174 Mph, it’s just 2 miles shy of the Dodge Viper ACR’s top speed.

Also, BMW wanted the M2 competition to be a serious driver’s car and thus they have given an option of a 6-speed manual too, so a lot of fun is guaranteed.

Now, this is just a Gist about the M2 Competition, if it gets more than 10 likes, then I have to go to make a detailed review of the M2 Competition.

Second, the Porsche Cayman: -

There is only one problem with the M2 competition that its brand value isn’t that high, at the end of the day, it’s still a BMW.

So, People who want a car with brand value in the range of exotics that don’t look any further than the Porsche Cayman.

Another German performance machine with an exotic touch. The Porsche Cayman is a car which mostly the Rich people desire because they already have so many supercars that they start desiring a car which can be daily driven but is a good performing machine as well.

The Cayman that we get in India has a 2.0 Litre 4-cylinder engine which is mid-mounted like a proper 911. It pumps out 295 Horsepower and 380 Nm of torque, result?? Well, the Cayman will do 0 to 60 Mph in just 4.7 seconds, just half a second slower than the M2 Competition which by the way has a lot more power and Torque than the Cayman.

The Cayman also has a Top speed of 275 Kmph, that’s just 4 Mph less than the M2 Competition.

Now, the Conclusion: -

This is the tough part; both of these machines are so desirable that’s it’s really hard to choose just one.

But, after a lot of thinking, I concluded that if I had the money to buy either of these, it will be the M2 Competition, reason? Well, I am a Gearbox Snob and I love Manual Transmission, so much so that I am willing to let go of that exoticness to have more fun.

But Hey, that’s just my opinion, I would love to know, what’s yours, so don’t forget to comment down below.

Note: -

I didn’t include the Mustang in the list because, at the time of the recording of this video, Ford is going to launch the new Mustang, so when the Mustang will be launched, we are going to talk about it, here on Motordrift!!!!

That’s all for this time, I trust you liked it, if you did, then do share it with your friends and do consider subscribing to Motordrift for more such videos in the Future.

Ciao
